Reed City Fire Department

Chase Township contracts with the Reed City Fire Department. The Reed City Fire Department is comprised of twenty-three part-paid personnel. They provide all the services of any modern fire department (fire, rescue, medical, haz-mat, fire safety, etc.).

RCFD is governed by the City of Reed City and carries an ISO rating of 6.

Ashton Fire Department

The Lincoln Township Fire Department, located in Ashton, was founded in 1945. The Department is located on the corner of 11 Mile Road and 210th Avenue, 6 miles north of Reed City, Michigan.

The Department is made up of 24 members that are Fire Fighters, Medical First Responders, EMT`s and Paramedics. Lincoln Township Fire Department has 7 trucks in its fleet; including: 2 Engines, 2 Tenders, 2 Grass Rig. and 1 Rescue Rig. The department also has Jaws of Life and hopes to have Open Water and Ice Rescue Equipment soon.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Administration office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, except for Holidays. 

If the office is closed and you would like to leave a message for a Deputy you can access their voice mail extensions by calling the Sheriff’s Administration office & an automated attendant will respond to your call and give directions.
